Cascade Lumber Website

Cascade Lumber, a lumber yard located in the Pacific Northwest, wanted to upgrade their website by expanding the content and giving it a fresh new look. They expressed that while they wanted more content in the site, they wanted the design to feel simple, clear, and concise, all on a tight budget.

SOLUTION

Cascade Lumber's primary goal was to encourage customers to contact them, so I designed the site so that their contact information would be prominent in the upper-right-hand corner of every page. Additionally, to show off their great facilities, I included a great set of images featuring Cascade Lumber's retail location and products at the top of the site's primary pages, cycling on an automatic slideshow. It was also important to summarize the products that Cascade Lumber sells, so I organized their products into categories, which were listed within the products link in the menu, linking to a well-organized products page, where each product category was broken down into product-lines with images, information, and links to more information.

RESULT

Cascade Lumber now has an updated website where customers can find the information they're looking for more quickly and easily than ever. An organized listing of their products, contact information, directions, and much more. On top of that, the site has been designed to scale up if they choose to expand the content of the site further down-the-road.
